I bought a Groupon for the tour and had no problem redeeming the coupon. The tour was initially cancelled but I was able to rebook without any problem. The tour was interesting, and the treats were from places I had never tried before which is great. I would definitely go back to some.

The tour highlights that it is through the Fashion District so I was a little let down that the guides didn't talk about the area per se. They did give a little overview of the places we were visiting, which was nice.

Overall a good experience but bring your walking shoes.

Arrived early for this tour at the designated location. Our tour guide arrived just before the tour time and then tried calling the individuals who were late while we waited for them to arrive. The tour guide was bubbly, informative and engaging. We went to a few locations: Delysees, Forno Cultura, Dlish Cupcakes, Nadege Patisserie and Dufflet - all of which were expecting to see us and had amazing food. Definitely do not eat before coming to this as there is more samples than you will be able to finish!!

Do not eat before you do this tour!! Review by michellescott100

You will be very full from delicious chocolates and pastries after his tour so do not eat before hand! You start in front of Soma Chocolatier and there you learn about the history of chocolate and what to expect on the tour. Then you head inside and learn about how the store started out, what ingredients they use, how they make chocolate and why. It's very informative and interesting, then the best part...you get a taste of the chocolate! And what is even more interesting is the chocolate you get will always change because the stores decide what they want to give you and it's based on what they have made that day.
Be aware, it's not a sample size you get, you get full chocolates, brownies, cupcakes, macaroons, etc!! Absolutely mouth watering, but make sure you bring some water with you on the tour!
You walk to each store and the whole tour takes about 2 1/2 hours, you also get some time in each shop to wonder around, buy anything if you want or you can watch the workers behind the glass make magic! As well the owners of the shops are really nice and many are more than willing to talk to you about their creations or even help you if you are a baker yourself.
This tour was well worth it, as I discovered shops I never knew existed that were gems hidden in the city. The tour was small too, about 10 people, so it was great! We got to know each other and it was a perfect size because a lot of the shops are not that large so you don't feel overwhelmed. I would recommend this tour for any chocolate lovers out there!
