A very enjoyable couple of hours meandering around Soho, a great part of London getting to know some interesting independent coffee houses and sampling their various coffees. The trip was run in a professional but friendly and relaxed style by our excellent tour guide Eddie, and was complemented by him offering fascinating little snippets of info about the social and cultural history of the places we were walking through. Who knew Mozart played at what is now Soho Theatre when he was 8?! If like me you love coffee then this tour is well worth doing, albeit I'm glad I did it on a pleasant, warm day. A welcome antidote to the ghastly chain coffee houses that blot our High Streets and stations,(Posted on 2/17/2016)

Led by lively, Alan, we went to some independent coffee outlets. (It sometimes easy to think that coffee shops in London are only Starbucks, Costas, Caffe Nero etc) We also visited a beautiful chocolate shop and a bakery outlet. Alan also pointed out some interesting Soho buildings and entertained us with fascinating anecdotes. Well worth doing even if you live in London.(Posted on 2/16/2016)
