I absolutely enjoyed this treat in walking Nyc historic district and learning about the food, architecture and the hickory that has made the city. We am taking lots of chocolate back home to share and can't wait to return, hopefully when it is warmer.(Posted on 2/15/2016)

We participate in the Chocolate Tour on a Friday afternoon. It was great- we got to see a lot of Chelsea, SOHO, Greenwich and the West Village and tasted lots of yummy treats, Our tour guide was knowledgeable and shared a lot of little bits of information about the area. He showed us the facade of the Rachel/Monica's apt, took us by Aaron Burr's former residence and pointed out other interesting pieces of history/pop culture. We had a groupon so we got a deal on the tour, and it was worth it for the number of samples we had. We visited Li-Lac Chocolates, the original Magnolia location, Milk & Cookies, David's Tea, Royce, Xocolatti and Vosges. It was an enjoyable way to spend a few hours and explore a different part of the city.(Posted on 2/15/2016)

Really Good Chocolate Tour Review by ShermanSUV

We were excited to experience the Chocolate Tour and for the most part, it was really good, just not great. The stores selected were outstanding and the samples provided were fantastic. It was nice variety of stores and not all just chocolate. We stopped at chocolate & fudge store (oldest in NYC), a bakery for cup cakes, a bakery for cookies, a Japanese chocolate store, etc

We even purchased from most of the stops and enjoyed talking to the staff (all very pleasant). The tour route is fun and great sites along the way. So why the 4-star rating?? Our tour guide was just average. Hard to explain but felt the tour was just recited instead of offering fun-facts or other tidbits to make the shops and area of NYC more interesting.

I'd recommend this tour and hopefully our guide was just having a bad day.(Posted on 2/15/2016)

We just returned from a chocolate tour of Greenwich Village, Chelsea and Soho. Our tour guide Marcy was wonderful. She was as sweet as the samples we tried at the 6 locations that we visited. This is the second tour we've done with this company. Last year we tried the cupcake tour which was also lots of fun. I always purchase my discounted tickets through Groupon. Our next tour will be a food tour.(Posted on 2/15/2016)

How do you go wrong with chocolate AND a walking tour of downtown nyc? Review by Chocolate walks and then some
      Your rating
Friday afternoon chocolate tour led by Justin did not disappoint. The chocolates were yummy but the tour was noteworthy because things were well organized and our guide did a great job of going the extra step. As we were walking I noted that Justin called in to our next stop to let them know we were on the way, as a result, each stop was well prepared when our group arrived and had our treats ready, despite lines and busy stores. Even better, guide Justin stopped us along the way to provide fun facts about buildings we passed and other nyc history. Thumbs up for nyc walking tours. (Posted on 11/6/2015)
Chintzy samples Review by Natalie Purvis

Very chintzy on the chocolate samples. Got 1/2 inch pieces at most locations. Would have rather gone to more less expensive stores and get a larger sample. (Posted on 12/13/2013)

In a word the tour is delicious. Come hungry. The tastings varied from chocolate flavored with spices and bacon, warm chocolate chip cookies, French macarons (pronounced macarons) that are not to be missed, chocolate cupcakes to yummy cannoli . We bought samples from several stores at a discount. The guide was informative and helpful.(Posted on 9/20/2013)

The Chocolate Tour was wonderful and delicious. Our Tour Guide, Alex, was extremely knowledgeable. Not only about chocolate but about the City in general. He made sure each member of the tour learned as much as he could. I would recommend this tour to everyone.(Posted on 6/29/2013)
